RULES

Main Rules

1. Team of 11 Players with 5 substitute players.
2. It will be a White ball tournament. Balls will be provided by the organizers. 12 Coloured T-shirts will be provided for each team before their first match.
3. White lower is compulsory for all.
4. There will be a free hit on all No-Balls. (Overstep, Waist height, fielding restrictions)
5.No one is allowed to wear metal spike shoes.
6. All teams are requested to give a complete list of their 16 players when they report for their first match. The players cannot be changed for the rest of the tournament. In such case, the team will be disqualified from the tournament.
7. A team should bowl their 20 overs within 80 minutes(10 minutes grace willbe provided) after which there will be a penalty as per standards
8. The tournament will start in the last week of January.
9. International T-20 rules will be applied.
10. Decisions made by the umpires will be final.
11. Matches will be played on Astroturf.
12. Only engineering colleges are allowed.
13. All revised ICC rules will be applicable to the tournament. Eg. The departing player had switched ends with the non-striker, the new hitter will still have to take the strike when his partner is caught out. Previously, the law used to enable the non-striker to take the crease if they had crossed the line before the Even if the catch was made.
